Andrea graduated with honors from Ryerson University 's Fine Arts program in Photography.
Her fourth year thesis was a self-published book and exhibit entitled "The Women We Call Mothers " (2005). This project is a collection of images and interviews exploring the trials and tribulations of becoming a mother and the struggle to balance motherhood and other aspects of life such as career and personal identity.
Andrea is the sole-proprietor of Vivid Impressions Photography which does documentary style wedding and family photography. Her work focuses on the emotional connection within families as well as the minute details and objects that make up our everyday lives. Andrea works out of her home in Lively, Ontario . She shares her life with her husband, John, and her new baby Anderson. Other creatures under their roof are their dog Tabu, and their two cats Marbles and Oliver.
